"Location was great, walking distance to many places. Staff were very friendly as well. The rooms are a little small and outdated but we didn’t spend much time in them and we did sleep comfortably."

"The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, that is definitely what makes this hotel. The rooms are nice and clean but beware if booking via Expedia. We chose a more expensive “Superior Double wth En-Suite” over a “Compact Double”, however the owner confirmed that all the rooms are compact, the Superior one have just been refurbished to a higher standard. No complaints about the hotel itself but you can hear the underground when staying on the first floor so light sleepers should request a quiet room. No air-con provided - I assume you can request a fan at reception. There is also extensive building work in the area during the day which starts early in the morning (Oct 2026)."

"While this is certainly no luxury hotel the staff were extremely friendly and helpful (even allowed us an early check in after a long flight) and the hotel’s proximity to Paddington station made it an ideal base for exploring the city. The rooms are small but we really only needed somewhere to sleep between adventures so this hotel filled that need perfectly!"
