“When traveling to San Antonio for the Fair or Fiestas, this is our first choice to check availability. Short safe walk to the market square, the parking lot is usually full and we have to park in the top but thank goodness for the elevator, and we get to enjoy the view of the city from up too 😀 Room was clean and comfortable as always. We’ve yet to enjoy the pool since we get caught up on our outdoor activities, but maybe one day. Staff is always friendly. ”

“The Fairmount is an interesting place. The old building has been nicely renovated, the rooms are comfortable and the staff is attentive. The layout is odd, with no real reception or lobby area to speak of. The location is great, close to the River Walk, but construction was going on in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, making access complicated. They had valet set up which was helpful. The rooftop bar and on site restaurant are great amenities. ”
