“The Grand Palladium and Lady Hamilton Resort is stunning! It’s well maintained and the staff is nice. We stayed in a Bungalow at the Signature Room, which has upgraded amenities, a private pool, and private beach access, with welcome and departure gifts. The ocean view balcony has a stunning view. The room could use some TLC-the tv was in and out, the mattresses are hard, and we had to call maintenance a couple times. The food was just okay and the classic dishes at the ala carte restaurants are……

“The entire resort was absolutely beautiful. It did have a slight smell and I’m sure it was from the hall carpet from hurricane. Best part about that is my last day there they were closing to remodel. My husband and I are waiting for the opening to book next year.”

“Our 7 night stay was great! The room was clean, the location is walking distance to everything and it has 24 hour security. Our host made sure we had everything we needed and was only a text away if we had any questions. Highly recommend if you want to experience Jamaica and its culture. We will be back ”

“The room was very clean, however the rooms are located in a very local shopping mall with lots of loitering outside, very noisy, no windows so felt claustrophobic. The outside was dirty , crowded and noisy I did not feel safe enough to stay there so I left.”

“We just spent 7 nights at Royal Plantation. What a beautiful and special place. The grounds are immaculately kept and there is a great sense of pride from all staff in making the resort feel more like a home away from home. Every single staff member we interacted with were so friendly and took time out of their day to stop and have a chat. We loved meeting all of them. We always felt so well taken care of. There was nothing that was ever too much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated……

“If I could give negative stars for this property, I absolutely would. The host cancelled our reservation right before our trip and failed to properly update the system or communicate professionally. I only found out the booking was cancelled when I was trying to get check-in information before leaving for Jamaica. The host messaged saying they cancelled for “personal reasons,” but after that completely stopped responding — not only to me, but also to Expedia when they repeatedly tried……
