「Lovely locality, clean and spacious room, very comfortable bed. Pool and steam room fantastic. Room on the lower ground floor, disappointing view, large over grown hedge, made the room very dark」

I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus. 」
