Shell We Dance? Charming Bungalow with Fabulous Location and Private Pool!

Like so many homes on Anna Maria Island, our home was severely flooded. Professional photos are coming, but until they are in, we thought you may enjoy a sneak peek!
We made a few needed changes in the floor plan, and believe it is at its best ever! We cannot thank those who reached out to us and wished us well, and those understanding guests whose vacations were upended by the storm and its toll on our humble home. It is with much gratitude that we thank you for your kindness, understanding, prayers, and love. Shell We Dance is back and better than EVER!!
Sweet vintage 1950's bungalow/cottage with all the charm of the island! Beautifully decorated, fully fenced back yard with private pool, (second building is the original garage where bikes and beach gear are stored). Located on the island's much sought after north end, it is a short walk to Bean Point Beach, Bay Front Beach and Park. Crystal clear waters of the gulf, white sands, and island breezes await!

2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Cozy living room with queen sized foldout sofa, screened in lanai, kitchen, and laundry room. With full sized washer and dryer included in the home and complimentary bikes to explore the island. Other items at the home for your use during your stay are beach towels, pool toys, beach chairs, a cart to roll all your gear to the beach, and pack-n-play for baby. Many accoutrements included!

Cute beach home close to Bean Pointe! This was our second time staying at this property. This home was perfect before, but has only gotten better with recent renovations after the hurricane in '24. The property is exceptionally clean and functional. You will love the pool and one of our favorite spots was the screened in lanai! The owners are incredibly responsive and they have a great team that manages their property!

Great location yard for dogs

The location was great - close enough to the action but far enough to be nice and quiet at night. The place if great for those with dogs too - completely fenced in and super friendly for my pack!

We had an awesome time!

The house was super clean and cozy, and it's a quick walk to the beach and pier. The pool area was perfect, and Don and Goose were really friendly and always quick to help with our questions.

A beautiful family friendly bungalow

715 North Bay Boulevard is a beautiful cottage. This location has everything you will need for a stay, easy access to Bean Point beach access, lots of nice restaurants and beach stores with a short drive. Thank you for sharing your beautiful little home with us.

A perfect spot on Anna Maria Island

The house was perfectly placed on Annamarie Island. It was a mix of classic Florida and updated modern accommodations. The pool was perfect and the ability to ride bikes and utilize Beach toys was great!

Perfect “Old Florida Home”

Our stay at “Shell We Dance” was perfect for us! Great salt water pool, comfortable cozy living area, close to the beach! We were even able to do Thanksgiving dinner! We were so happy we made this choice!

Amazing Beach Stay!

Our family had an incredible stay at Shell We Dance! The house was wonderful and the pool and deck area were perfect for us. A very short walk to beautiful beaches. Don was extremely responsive and helpful with the one small issue we had. We will definitely try to come back again!!

We love staying here at this property! We loved the location, the price was great and The house overall was a perfect fit! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, we celebrated my daughter‘s 21st birthday with us in a couple of her friends. They loved the pool and the closeness to the beach. Everything was very well stocked there wasn’t much we wanted for!! We will definitely be back!!!!

Family Vacation

Visited Anna Maria Island with kids and grandkids in June. Absolutely loved the location, pool and peacefulness of the home. We have been staying in Anna Maria for many years, and this property was great for the walk to our favorite beach and Rod and Reel Pier. Will return for sure!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was an easy walk to Bean Point or Rod and Reel pier. The private pool was very nice and all the extra items made for a great stay. We would definitely stay again. Everything is nearby. The house has all the basics that are needed.

Such an amazing property and staff!

We were traveling from Wisconsin on a last minute vacation and could not have and a better time! The location of the home was unprecedented! Fall break

We love the location of this quaint bungalow. Easy walks to Bean Point for sunsets! The private pool was so nice and all the extra things provided made our beach time so easy! We loved the bicycles. There was even a grill right out by the pool for afternoon burgers. We love AMI and can’t wait to go back!

Vacation happiness

We love this clean and lovely home with the pool and within minutes from the beach or pier and so much more. Goose is always so nice when we call upon arrival and the owners have also been very kind to share their unique home. This is our 2nd time staying here and I sure hope we can return someday soon. Loved the location and the property. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was the construction of a new house right behind the property. The workers had a view of our whole backyard. So when we were in the pool, they a clear view of us.

Exceptional North End Cottage

Perfect cottage for our family of 5. The home was clean and provided every need for our stay. Everything was as the listing described. The home is just a short walk away from the Rod and Reel Pier and the north end of the beach to include Bean Point. Mostly original 50’s era home with a new, exceptional pool to relax and cool off in after a hot walk back from the beach. The owners were very prompt with replying to communication. You can not go wrong with this home in such a quiet, relaxed part of the island.

Shell We Dance

This house has an awesome outdoor space. My kids loved it and spent a lot of time in the pool. The house is small but very clean. Out of all the VRBO we have stayed in, this by far was one of the cleanest which I absolutely loved! The bikes were a plus and made it very easy to get to the beach, stores, and restaurants on the island. We had one little hiccup with the washer but it was taken care within 45 minutes. Great experience!

Great location

This home could not have a better location to the beautiful beach. It’s only about 1 1/2 blocks. The pool is brand new and beautiful. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the home but it is very small and things are older and worn. Ceilings are so low that our tall family members had to avoid the ceiling fans. The kitchen is original. Beds are comfortable and the house is clean. Overall this is a great location.
