"Went away for our anniversary- took 1yo with us. Loved the location close to parks, cute property, easy to locate. This current property allowed kids, other than having a pack n play, would not recommend for small children.. lots of cute decor for temptation. Steep stairwell.. it's the prefect getaway when child free 🙂"

"We have never stayed at this State Park lodge before but we will go back. The architecture is similar to the other State Park lodges, the rustic nature wood and stone construction which is beautiful and amazing. The lodge may be a little dated but well maintained and the rooms have received some updates. The food at the lodge was fresh and hot and made to order. "I was impressed with the top condition of the room. It was a spacious suite. A bit noisy, but you expect that downtown. Parking fee--at $27 per night--seems high."

"Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast. My only complaint was the room was not super clean—specifically, there were lots of stains on the couch in the room. The sheet set for the fold-out bed had strains on them. I had them replaced, and the replacement set had stains as well. "
