“Spa was nice, room was exceptional in terms of the view, decor and comfort. receptionist very welcoming. Bar area no atmosphere at all. Only used for drinks can’t comment on the food. Staff nice enough. Breakfast was lovely and exactly as ordered. Unfortunately during our stay there was multiple fire alarms going off through night. This in itself was annoying as it disturbed our sleep and we only had one evening booked. Lack of sleep for our big day the following day was not what we had planned……

“Great Base for Exploring Arran We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Auchrannie Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Arran. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing a relaxing base to explore the island. One of the highlights was dining at the resort’s Cruize Restaurant, which offered healthy menu choices along with prompt and friendly service. “I moved to this hotel because they told me they had a working fan and a view of the sea with adequate sea breeze to cool off the room. The room was extremely warm and the fan did not work very well and I had to stay there for two nights with an extremely warm room also the the hotel is a bit rundown and the carpet in the room had stains.”

“The room was very hot. There was only a thick duvet on the bed, so if you’re like me (I need to be covered when I sleep) it was extremely uncomfortable. Also, no fans provided to cool down the room. A second issue were the toilets. In order to fully flush the toilet (which is required when travelling) you had to pull the handle past 45 degrees with quite a bit of pressure. Both my husband and I thought we were going to break the toilet. No instructions were given. We have travelled extensively……

“Immaculate inside and out.”

“Excellent hotel, was a bit disappointed with breakdast, it was still good but have had better. The only thing i found that was annoying, was the room doors are spring loaded and no one seemed to know how to shut a door quietly. When the doors bang shut the rooms aroind shook”

“The hotel was lovely with a large bedroom. The spa was very professional and the amenities were great. The breakfast was very good and staff very helpful. Enjoyed our stay in Irvine and would consider going back.”

“It was like home from home environment, visiting family. The hose/owner was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again. I stayed In a single room which was just right and a shared bathroom. TV, single bed, wardrobe, sink and mirror, along with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was delicious.”
