“We loved the paddleboards, kayaks, floating dock, and pontoon. So many fun things to do on the lake. The fishing was good. It was fun to see the turtles too. The deck off our cabin was wonderful to sit on anytime of day, the spaciousness of our cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Our kids all had their own room. The full kitchen made it super easy to make our own meals. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable indoor chairs to sit on, maybe updated beds and bedding, curtains. The……

“Shady Hollow deserves an easy 5 star rating. My husband and I stayed with our 5 children aged 1-8, and it was perfect. We all enjoyed the beach, beautiful lake view, swimming, paddle boards, fishing, pedal boat and kayaks, which was included in the cost. “We couldn’t check in until four in the afternoon and had to be out by 10 in the morning on Sunday, and so even if you have two nights you feel as if you only had one day. “This is a cute motel. The property was clean and we had excellent communication. We were able to get an early check in when we called which was wonderful. Check in and check out was easy and convenient which doesn’t always happen with motels which have been updated. The walls are paper thin, so if you are a person that needs quiet I would say this is not the place for you. The bathroom was clean but the tub was not updated(think pink).
