“The place was perfect for a two day trip. It was clean and had a great view of the little lake and fall colors. We were able to cook breakfast on the electric griddle provided, however, we were not able to grill the steaks we had planned because of no way to clean the grill. No problem, though, we just had an authentic German meal out instead.”

“Fabulous downtown Washington location! Close to numerous delightful gathering places for meals and local area wines and beers! Beautiful well appointed apartment in wonderful old brick building with old brick accent walls and peaceful, pale blue, gray and white modern furnishings. It is a modern steel in an old historic Riverside building. And the no river view from within the apartment as soon as outside and facing front street the river view is awesome! “The property was nice and really clean, you can tell there was much attention put into every detail. The hosts were very communicative from the start and they were responsive to our questions. The area is really quiet, and outside from the Pinckney Bend Distillery there are not many activities you can do in the area. It does serve well as a place where you can easily go to Hermann or Washington (about 20 mins driving distance).”

“Gorgeous working farm; friendly, responsive on-site owners; best guard dog of all time (Dakota!); top-notch fishing in the pond (bass & HUGE bluegill!); convenient to Hermann (10-15 mins) and all the shops, wineries and distilleries! The room is small/quaint but has what you need: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and shared deck overlooking the scenic pond/lake. It was clean and comfortable. This is a place we will visit again, no doubt!”
