“When I visit Providence from NYC, I stay at The Dean exclusively, because it IS an exclusive boutique hotel!! My favorite thing to do on the morning is roll out of my luxurious King suite and come down to the lobby for locally made Knead doughnuts and Bolt Coffee! “The hotel is tidy and clean and price is affordable. However, my room has a smell of mold or smoke, which could not be removed by ventilation or air conditioning. I have a sensitive nose and I couldn’t get used to it even overnight. I wish the landlord can get rid of it so hotel will be great.”

“Overall the motel has everything you might want for a comfortable stay. From the must haves, cleanliness, amenities, and parking, to the nice to haves, decor, extras in bathroom. The one thing that made me lower my rating from 5 to 4 was the air freshener scent in my room and bathroom. It was so strong that all my clothes were saturated with it. Disappointing. Broken Air Conditioning.

"The room has a smell of cigarette smoking and the air conditioning was broken in our room. We managed to move into another room with a floor cooler. When we were packing to move, a person who claimed to be the manager of the hotel called our room and told us to vacate the room right that moment. He was very impolite. In the room which we switched to, it still felt hot like outside at 33 degrees as the window was not securely taped, therefore there was a leak in the window caused by the air duct of the floor cooler."
