“clean, quiet location - small, but comfortable for our one night stay. host was very responsive to questions.”

“This was my second time staying at James' place, and it won't be my last. It's a big, clean, fun, quirky, comfortable, secure place and James is a great host. It's also nice that there's a Dollar Tree close by to walk over and pick up a few things. And now that I know they're pet-friendly, I'll be bringing my dog next time. Thanks, James! See you down the road!”

“We stayed here for two nights while visiting the McDonald Observatory in the Davis Mountains. The unit itself was clean, the A/C worked very well, and there was plenty of hot water. There were, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The photos of the back patio are outdated. The space currently has a patio table and a plastic picnic table, but the patio table hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. “Our stay was amazing! The property was clean and check-in/out was a breeze. Simplicity at its finest. The drive to Big Bend was easy from this location. Sat gazing on the top deck was perfection. Will definitely visit again. ”

“Had a great stay while visiting Big Bend! The stars were amazing!”

“Small but clean and well thought out. Good location. Nice and new”

“Neat place to stay”

“Great place for the family, just needs pictures of master room and bath. We were just hoping the description of 3beds was accurate, luckily it was and was great”

“Nice place for stargazing. We ate delicious tacos within walking distance twice! The outside shower had a nice breeze which helped with the heat.”

“Stopped in for a quick overnight stay while picking up our youngest at Prude Ranch summer camp. The little house was super clean, very comfortable and well appointed. Comfortable bed and linens, great tv, kitchenette and bathroom. Quiet, simple luxury in lovely Fort Davis, and very affordable in comparison to hotel rooms in the area. Checking and checkout were a breeze, and we felt right at home ! Did not have a chance to enjoy the rooftop deck, but it looked lovely. Would definitely……
