「We received a warm welcome and the owners were friendly and polite. The abbey was easy to locate and our room was comfortable and a good size. The breakfast is excellent and you can walk to a nearby pub for dinner. Pleased to see parking was provided as well. From here we explored the jail, Fowey, Charlestown and everything in between so it’s a central location. I would recommend the abbey for a nice place to stay if you want to see the surrounding areas.」

「Lovely little hotel with great staff and rooms.
We were lucky enough to stay in the Lostwithiel room beautifully comfortable bed with a bathroom that was huge.
The breakfast was amazing with the hospitality second to none.
All in all we had a great stay and will return when next visiting Bodmin.」

「We stayed 2 nights in sn upper floor twin room. The in room TV was tiny, but everything else about the stay was good.
Internet was fast, breakfasts were very good, and we also enjoyed dining there in the evenings, with views of the last gokfers of the day on the 9th and 18th holes just outside the windows.
Parking was easy, and the staff were great.」

「The owner was just fantastic, so attentive to our needs and the secret way to locate the property, (if you know, you know, it is a genius), the first people and or persons we were introduced to were three stunning horses. (Two of our favourite royals after Kate of course, & My Wife' nickname), we loved the alpacas, the rabbits, the dogs and it was just so picturesque and beautiful. Our whole holiday was just perfect we didn't want to leave. We would love to see the owner again and love that part...

「I loved the peace and quiet! The location is in a beautiful area, far from any noise or light pollution. The walks and runs are stunning with great way-marks.
The laundry onsite was particularly helpful. The accommodation was very well equipped with clear instructions. It was warm, bright, spacious and felt very safe (as a lone traveler). The bed was comfortable. The water is delicious as it is local (not full of chlorine)! I wish I'd brought a bottle to take some home.」
