“Lovely place, just unfortunate some building work going on”

“The location of this hotel is great, 15 min walk from Denbies and right at the base of Box Hill for a hike. The pool is nice but you can't use it after check out and it closes at 7 even in the middle of summer! The Air Con did not work. The room was fine but quite old and tired. Overall great for location but not a luxurious stay”

“Executive Room? Nope - Executive Disaster. If you need to work, have a reliable Zoom call or expect an Executive Room experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Room 2 was spacious, with a lovely king bed and good workspace. Sadly, the TV had several columns of broken LEDs, making it unwatchable. I then noticed stains on the bedding. Reception didn't answer the room phone after 15 minutes. I eventually went to reception and was asked to wait while another room was found. I was……

“Very poor experience. I have travelling 3 or 4 times every year for the past 20 years. Except the staff in the front desk and health club showed me welcoming. The waitresses in the restuant made sounds and faces behind me during the buffer breakfast. The waitress even did not know I could order and pay online during dinner. Are they trying to embarass the asian faces? Also smelly and stain in the guest room, no refigerator and safe, what kind of experience could not expected.”
