Boulder Historic Hotel

"We arrived several hours early and asked if we could check in. We were told it may be a problen since the housekeepers were still there and the roo. May not be ready. He did some checking and said there was a room available. However, we'd have to pay $39 for early check-in. We paid it because the hotel is out of the way and we needed would have reqired a lot of driving to get to any kind of recreation or food and then come back to check i. And go back. The room was clean and comfortable except for one thing. Apparently, the previous guest had spilled some sticky liquid in front of the sink. Other than that. Staff were nice and the room was okay except for the sticky floor."

"Parking was very difficult. Cottage was musty smelling and needed some repair. Heating vents were rusty and not cleaned well. Every time someone ran water it sounded like a weedeater or yard blowing was running inside the kitchen closet. "

"The staff were great, the breakfast area was today and well stocked, the breakfast attendant was especially attentive to everyone in the dining area. The room was simple, clean. The bathroom had a poor and overwhelming smell, was older, but otherwise looked neat. Tried running the shower and faucet in case it was because of dry plumbing, but the smell remained."
