"Beautiful hotel, lovely staff all very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, I loved the breakfast and the two evening meals we had were top quality. You can also order drinks and snacks during the day if you are relaxing at the property. The room was perfect (cascata, room 10) very private with lovely views and everything you need. It was worrying driving up the road the first time as it is very steep and with a sheer drop off the edge of the car park and road but to be honest after one day driving in Madeira you are used to it!"

"The house is in a rural location and the views of the Atlantic are breathtaking. If you want to relax in peaceful surroundings, this is the place for you! Inside the house, the décor and furniture are traditional but there’s everything you need for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very effective, ensuring we slept well despite the high humidity. Furthermore, the kitchen is very well equipped and there are three bathrooms, each with a shower, which is incredibly convenient if you're staying as a larger group. We also found the house to be very clean throughout. The terrace and pool area are a real bonus. There's plenty of space and we spent a lot of time outside, making the most of the weather. Without a doubt, the terrace and pool area are the perfect place to spend your time.Our host, Emanuel, was communicative and friendly throughout our stay. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him and he was genuinely interested in our stay at his house. It really was a pleasure to meet him. If you're looking for a comfortable house in a rural Madeiran setting, my friends and I would recommend it without hesitation. For the price, you needn’t look any further!"
