Hotel con buen servicio y muy buena ubicación si tu objetivo no es la playa primordialmente y quieres conocer Cancún fuera de la zona hotelera, hay baresitos, tiendas y la terminal de autobuses queda caminando a 10 minutos y el aeropuerto a sólo 20 minutos en coche (cuando no hay tráfico) lo único “malo” es que había mucha gente y si es un poco ruidoso el hospedaje pero en general bien , recomendable

We booked this place as it checked off most if not all the boxes. Upon arriving to the property we were told the building is closed for renovations. Though, we would be able to book/reserve at their sister company. We booked places around this area as it was walking distance to most do the places we wanted to try. However being moved to the other hotel put a damper on most of our plans and had to relook/rebook certain things and actually pay to be taken to said places. I figured we’d get a discount for the issue of not being told about the work but nope.

I cannot provide a review of Adhara Express because we did not stay there. We were redirected to their sister property, Hotel Adhara Cancun, so I cannot comment on the rooms, service, or experience at Adhara Express itself. My feedback would not be accurate or fair for future guests.

The hotel was located in a prime location close to many restaurants and bars just outside the front entrance. The pool was nice with a good bar next to it and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I liked the fact breakfast was served from 7am-12pm. The hotel's cleanliness was satisfactory overall with nothing to complain about. Here's a useful tip, when flying into Cancun take an ADO bus to the central terminal in downtown Cancun. From there it's only a simple 8 minute walk to the hotel and you will save so much money from taking a private taxi or group shuttle.

In all fairness, we never got to stay at Adhara Express. On our way to Adhara Express our shuttle driver informed us that the hotel was closed. We arrived there and it quickly became apparent that they were in fact closed. Our driver spoke to the security guard who redirected us to another Adhara hotel. Again, in all fairness, this one was slightly better and was comfortable. Our issue is that Expedia should have warned us of the situation. If our driver had not “gone the extra mile “ no pun intended, we’d would’ve been essentially stranded in the middle of Cancun not knowing where/how to get to the other hotel. When we spoke with Expedia we were told that the hotel should have advised us.
