Staff support is lacking. Room smells like sewage and they refused to let us switch rooms or get money back. They refused to let us bring food in because they have a restaurant. The restaurant food is lacking and not good. No mini fridge in rooms to prevent us from going out and bringing good food back.

Upon arriving at the property, we couldn't enter or access the Wi-Fi; even the QR code wasn't working. We contacted you via WhatsApp, but you never responded with a solution; you simply sent the same photos. The television wasn’t working either. Since the WiFi wasn’t working, it was very hard to contact an uber and was very scared he would miss his flight in the morning. You’re not able to talk with anyone and the area is very dark and secluded behind an alleyway. The locks on the room door were broken and I have pictures to show this. Didn’t stay at the property, left and found another hotel downtown.

El personal muy amable, de eso no puedo decir nada. Sin embargo, el internet fue un problema para nosotros ya que era muy difícil conectarse y a los pocos minutos se desconectaba. The restaurant food was all homemade from scratch and MADE WITH LOVE. There was no need to go out for food or have it delivered because the onsite restaurant was OUTSTANDING!!! The property felt so cozy and personable. It was a perfect place for my 5-day stay there. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else… Villa Palmeras is PERFECT!!

The property is very old and rooms need serious maintenance. Don't trust the room photos or high ratings. The AC was noisy and worked on single setting. The bed had certain constant vibration feel from the floor or wall idk. The pillows given were terrible and had worst ever filling which felt like some crumbled garbage. Balcony chairs were dirty and stained. The washroom needed serious maintenance. No hot water in shower. Very low pressure shower. No elevators to take your luggage to the rooms which are not on ground floor. The parking door doesn't close at night leaving your car open to risk although nothing happened to us. Very secluded area location and could feel little unsafe if you're going there late at night although we didn't run into into problems. I'm summary, not worth even the low price you'll pay.

Staff seemed fine and I enjoyed the automated check in. It’s a perfect little location if you have a layover and know you’re not trying to get to the beach or enjoy the nightlife. However, I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The drawer had someone’s leftover condom and half of some sort of pill in the drawer. If this was missed who knows what else was skipped over during the cleaning process

The room was nice. The grounds were well kept. The food was good in the on-site restaurant though over $4 CAD for a litre of water was a bit pricey.Since I got in late and left early, I never had a chance to try the outdoor pool. There is no printing facility on-site so either print your boarding pass before you arrive or be prepared to go digital. Also, getting a taxi to the airport needs a little work involving management unless you have the Uber app. And make sure you update the time on your devices as for some reason mine did not update and I ended up an hour later than I expected when I set my alarm.
