Beautiful place, nice restaurant
Everything very nice except aircon in room not working, still in winter mode they said. And loungers by main pool without adjustable backs, lay down position only.

Dear Thomas, thanks for the excellent feedback posted in this community, we are very glad to know that you enjoyed the experience in our Locanda. We apologize for the inconvenience about the air conditioning, your room was located in the Farm House where there is a centralized system managing the heating or air conditioning (they can not be managed contemporarly). This season the weather was much variable, even in May we had most of the days with large temperature range, very cold in the evening (also together with lot of rain) and warmer in the daytime, we preferred to keep the heating active for longer and made the switch to summer mode (with air conditioning active) only at the end of May. We also have taken good note about your suggestion on the chaise longue we have at the main pool. They are designer products, but unfortunately as you may know, sometimes aesthetics does not match with comfort , so we are thinking for next season to replace them as we did for the kids' pool ones this year.Thanks again for sharing your opinion with us. this is much important as it can help us to improve our services for the future.Looking forward to welcome you back soon, we send our best regards,Alessia PicchiantiFOM

Albergo molto elegante con una bella SPA, due grandi piscine, campo da tennis e da padel. Zone comuni molto ampie e tranquille. Ottima colazione. Tutto ben tenuto compreso il parco. Camere standard non spaziosissime ma confortevoli. Personale gentilissimo. A metà strada tra il paese di Capalbio e la spiaggia.

This place was an absolute delight from the facilities and staff to the surrounding area. The restaurant food and service may be the best we experienced during our three weeks in Italy. Would certainly return!

For rest
This hotel was a wonderful experience over all. There is a spa with a sauna and steam room. It also has pools but it is a cold plunge not hot tubs. My husband and I have massages and the therapist was very good. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing. We also hung out near the pool area it’s very clean and comfortable. Our room was part of the original hotel very close to the spot and pool. We enjoyed this room with the backyard except for the fact that the AC did not work in the room. We chose this location to attend the sculpture garden it was very close by convenient. We would choose to stay at this hotel the next time we flying to Rome and use it as acclamation time. It is it beautiful resort and I look forward to visiting again.

Locanda Rossa is a really nice hotel, a great (if slightly overpriced for what it is) restaurant and good facilities.

Wir waren von dem Ort, dem Grundstück, dem Haus und dem Essen, der Locanda Rossa sehr angetan. Das team ist wahnsinnig freundlich. Kinder sind willkommen. Wir haben ein großes Upgrade unseres Zimmers bekommen und waren darüber sehr erfreut. Leider hat man uns die aktuelle Baustelle verschwiegen, was bei einem Urlaub dann doch sehr störend ist!! Kinder haben einen eigenen Pool und Spielplatz, was eine tolle Idee ist. Nach dem Umbau wird es wahrscheinlich nicht mehr so familiär und gemütlich sein, was sehr schade ist.

This is an odd place. The hotel itself is beautiful. Amazing design and stunning pool. The service is all over the place. No proper reception desk or concierge. Extracting any recommendations for local places and restaurants was painful. Beware: room sizes are SMALL. Some real positives but would not stay again.

Das Standardzimmer war klein und dunkel, Wlan während meiner Anwesenheit kaum verfügbar. Die Zimmerreinigung war nicht gründlich, Dusche und Abtrennung wurden nicht gereinigt. Essen und Getränke habe sehr hohe Preise. Die Anlage als Ganzes ist jedoch sehr nett.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht erfüllt
Von 8 Tagen Aufenthalt funktionierte Wlan an nur 1 Tag. Die Zimmerreinigung war ausgesprochen oberflächlich. Tee und Gebäck im Zimmer wurden nur gelegentlich aufgefüllt. Das Wasser aus dem kleinen Kühlschrank wurde mit 1€ berechnet, hingewiesen wurde darauf nicht. Das Frühstück war täglich gleich, es waren auch Eierspeisen verfügbar, Sie wurden allerdings nicht angeboten. Lediglich durch andere Gäste wurden wir darauf aufmerksam. Leider stimmt hier das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis nicht.

Nice Hotel but need a car to get around
Really nice hotel but 2 major issues - it is very remote so you need transport and the only taxi driver in the area WILL rip you off (the hotel doesn't tell you this even though he is known for it!). Secondly the restaurant menu is very limited, they have the same menu for lunch and dinner and not a wide variety plus this menu doesn't really change much. So it is not ideal if you don't have a car and therefore have to use the restaurant for lunch and dinner. On the other hand the breakfast is very good.
