“They had a nice breakfast. Unfortunately the pool was closed, but I could use the exercise room instead of swimming.”

“Room Was clean but the air conditioning in the bedroom did not get very cool. Staff was friendly but the only two things I had an issue with was coming in my room after being asked and putting a “Do not clean room” sign on my door, room service still came in and took all of our towels but didn’t leave any new ones. Also, we had coral and sea shells on the balcony drying out and “someone” took all but one.”

“Only complaint is the ‘brown gravy and biscuits ‘was not as good as the traditional white gravy. The cook/ keeper of the food area was very nice. ”

“Excellent property! Restaurants on site - and convenient to the Mucky Duck ect. Nice rooms - clean. This time we choose beach view and the sunsets were Gorgeous! Pool areas are nice . A little busy the week we went - Outside bars and food make a day at the pool enjoyable. Beach access is right across the st and you can rent chairs and umbrella for $25 A great place to just go and relax. Some days we didn’t even leave . Recommend the Shelling or Dolphin tour with Captiva Cruises as they are……

“Great place. Walking distance from a little parade of local craft stores and restaurants. Right on a secluded canal teeming with fish and bird life. Clean and perfect for what we needed. ”

“Great tiny house! Clean & comfortable. Great outside area too. Only thing I would add is hooks to hang things on like towels and clothes. An extra mirror somewhere too would be helpful. Communication with the host was prompt.”

“We recently stayed at this hotel and had such a great experience from start to finish. The entire property was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, which immediately made it feel welcoming and well cared for. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax after a long day. The outdoor area was super relaxing and we loved seeing the manatees! The location was also a huge plus—convenient to everything we needed, which made getting around simple and……

“The room was outdated, dirty, the shower was dirty and always started with brown water. The balcony was the best feature yet the door didn’t close completely so the room filled with bug… no one slept well.”

“Overall it is a nice place and convenient for local travel. I really think the $40 per person per day resort fee is outrageous. A lot of the place is privately owned or under construction. Your resort fee gets you towels and a chair at the beach, access to a small water park. A shuttle and WiFi. It would be more honest to raise the daily rate and drop the fee. One timer for us and can’t recommend it to others. ”

“Jim was great, condo was clean and well equipt. We stayed 2 weeks and would return. We found over 1000 sharks teeth at the local beaches! There are 2 clubs across the cove that play live music until 10 p.m.”
