“I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer.”

“The view was beautiful and the space itself is quiet with a nice layout. It was so much better than staying at a hotel, and if you are hoping to see one of those cool (not so) little banana slugs, they are around here. We saw at least a half dozen large ones with even more babies. The location is also perfect, with stores and restaurants nearby, 40 minutes from San Jose airport, 20 minutes from Santa Cruz boardwalk and 5 minutes from Roaring Camp and Henry Cowell state park. “My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at your cottage to celebrate his birthday. I especially enjoyed seeing your farm animals. Such a special treat to walk about the back and interact with them. We found the cottage charming, clean, and comfortable. It was hard to leave after just two nights. Next time it will be more. “While this cottage is cozy, it is new and has every imaginable amenity! The location can't be beat! The bed is the most comfortable of any I've slept in. The kitchen is well equipped with nice matching dishes, stemware and cutlery. The bathroom has plenty of space. There are USB chargers in several areas. It's darling!”

The location could not have been better, central to everything but nestled away to provide the quiet we desired. The patio itself was a little oasis away from the hustle of daily life. “The couch is not very comfortable for sleeping. The internet was down for our three day stay. Cell service is minimal at best. All that aside, the place is beautiful and the river is a nice teat. Ride the steam train while you are there.”
