“Gorgeously decorated historical home with endless attention to detail and oh, so squeaky clean!!Within moments of our arrival I proclaimed I COULD LIVE HERE!!Location was perfect for our visit with daughters. I can’t write this without mentioning the millwork, crown molding and trim….BEAUTIFUL!!”

“This home was perfect for our group, four adults and two kids. The no wake cove was great for swimming and fishing. We caught lots of cats and carp off the bank, plenty of brim and a good size large mouth bass. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Our family (3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law and 6 grandchildren) do an annual summer vacation. We have been to the Outerbanks, Deep Creek Lake, Panama, Rehoboth Beach, the Thousand Islands, and some others. Everyone (even the 3 year olds) told us that this house at SML was the best vacation venue yet! - and I agree. Plenty of room for everybody, a game room, a huge movie theater room with state of the art video and sound systems.Easy access dock - we rented a TriToon boat from Mitchell's Marina &……

“Overall the property was very nice. It was great for a group with adults and teenage kids as there were two masters on the first floor and a hang out space downstairs for the kids. The location and dock for a boat as well as trampoline and second floor dock for jumping were enjoyed by all. Our only issues had to do with the cleanliness not being the best and the lack of some basics like more than one trash bag. However, our overall stay was fantastic as the location on the lake close to……

“We were lucky to find this gem. The perfect location for all things Charlottesville. Owner was top notch to work with all booking and during stay inquiries were quickly and accurately answered. Plenty of space for a couple of two for a long stay. Every appliance needed was there and working well. An abundance of china, glasses, cooking ware and paper products were stocked. Friendly neighbors. Everything well kept in this cottage. Look forward to another stay here in the future.”

“Very nice and very new. My kids slept great in these beds. There was plenty for everyone to do, and the most beds I’ve ever seen in a house. Or favorite thing to do was enjoy the fire pit while looking at the stars.”
