“A good budget stay very near Chichester. Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean, cooked breakfast delicious. The pub had a wonderful social feeling in the evenings with sea shantys being sung on the first night and a quiz the second. We recieved a warm welcome. ”

“Breakfast menue was fresh but if you wanted much other than fried it was limited. They dont do food after 5.30 on a sunday evening so we ate out and the bar was shut when we got back. We did eat there sat evening and enjoyed the food so would have eaten there sun as well. Room was clean and comfortable.”

Breakfast..what can i say..No one to meet us..outside door was open and really cold..so we just sat down..about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there and that was by a staff member that had just walked in.. “This is a fantastic pub to stay and dine at. 4 nights here with wonderfully comfortable and quiet room. Excellent staff, great evening menu and food. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing walking right from the front door, car did not move for the whole time. The breakfast is the only thing that needs attention… the full English is good quality and well cooked but took 30-40 mins to arrive and on cold plates - easily rectified I hope.
