“This was our first visit to CO, so first visit to Colorado Springs, too. This property proved to be a great launchpad for exploring the local area and also driving further out, with good access to the mountains. The host was communicative and helpful, onsite (floor above) too, so very accessible. Perhaps a little unusual (but clearly stated in the listing), the hosts live in the 2nd floor and part of the VRBO is a share access corridor which is used to move between to spaces on the ground……

“My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is extremely convenient, with great access to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and everything else Colorado Springs has to offer. The property was great all around. Communication with property management was top notch as they even reached out to warn us of an unexpected winter storm that was occurring on the day of our arrival. Highly recommend!”

“We loved staying in this historic home during our trip to Colorado Springs. The casita and extra bedroom were perfect for our small family. The architecture is impressive. Both spaces are well designed. Caren was kind, professional and helpful with emails. Check-in/out procedures were clear. We feel privileged to have stayed in her home. The fenced yard was helpful since we brought our small dog. Everything was first class. We look forward to returning.”

“Enjoyed staying here for a graduation celebration. The host was very accommodating. There are a lot of other cabins in the direct vicinity and so you are not alone and it’s close to busy road. Would stay here again if opportunity presented itself”

“We arrived to find the linens still in the washer & dryer, for us to finish and put away. There are far too many rules. There are signs all over the home to remind you constantly of the many rules. I am positive that we do not need instructions over the toilets on how to use them. The pictures in the listing must have been taken several years ago but everything is worn. The patio furniture is nothing like the photos. It clearly need replacement. The area is beautiful. We will return to the area……
