“Flawless. We loved our stay at The Ship Inn and I strongly recommend it for any stay in Rye. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. The pub is beautiful and historic and the room itself modern and faultlessly clean. Some little details I really appreciated: tea and coffee and kettle in the room (with oat milk sachets!), a deep bath, tv, desk fan and a very comfy, spacious bed. 10/10”

“Based on the property description, I was expecting something different. It is a room in an old house. The proprietor was kind, helpful, and accommodating. It was enough for one night and the price was right, but I likely wouldn't return. We had problems with the WC. The location was good, close to the train station and walkable distance to the seaside and city center. If you have an allergy to dogs, pass on this. Pets aren't allowed in the rooms, but the owners have dogs in the building. Also,……

“Everything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer. The hotel is ideal for the channel tunnel and close enough to Folkestone to have a little wander around the beautiful coast. The hotel is pet friendly which is great.
