"This was a perfect stop when traveling between Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The room was very spacious and important areas clean. There was some dust, but the bathroom and bedding were clean and fresh. The room appeared recently remodeled with fresh window dressings and carpet. The staff was friendly and helpful with information regarding the Carlsbad Caverns evening bat program, as well as a list of restaurants in Carlsbad. A surprise of a complementary continental breakfast was also offered, which was much appreciated since food options are very limited in this area. I would definitely recommend this location, especially if planning to see Carlsbad Caverns. There isn't a closer option, with this National Park only about 7 miles down the road. That was especially helpful if you plan to go to the evening bat program and don't enjoy driving much at night."

"The blankets were really, really thin. Was woken up by the smoke detectors test without any warning. The pool area was covered in mold. The pool was green and closed. The hot tub was not usable with no prior information before check-in so my trip was really really ruined because I had plans to relax by the pool after a 14 Hour Drive. I wanted to sit in the hot tub"

"Once in a lifetime Wanted to stay here because we love La Posada in Winslow, Arizona and this hotel is owned by the same people. But it is not of the same quality very much liked the history of the hotel and the town of Las Vegas. Bathroom was very clean. The bedding was very clean. The rest of the room is not carpets soiled draperies very dusty furniture quite beat up, but if you want to stay in an historical hotel, give it a try restaurant just okay."

"The room was very nice with comfortable beds and nice decor. We really enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor spa. The breakfast was better than any of the ones we had in our trip."

"The double beds room at this hotel is spacious with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Beds are comfy and water pressure in the shower is adequate. A sink outside of the shower/commode area is convenient. The complimentary breakfast has hot foods, waffle, pastry with coffee. The sound proofing from upstairs is poor and you can hear the guests upstairs moving around. Other than that, for a roadside hotel, this provides a decent option for a good night sleep."

"I loved my stay a the lodge in cloudcroft, it was awesome. Friendly and helpful staff, Clean rooms and bathrooms and alot to look at and explore. The restaurant unfortunately was not within my budget so we had to pickup dinner, but the complementary breakfast was good. In all my stay was well worth it and I look forward to staying at the lodge in the future."

"Facilities and room are not clean. TV continuously on when a guest arrives in a room and no instructions to shut the TV off is torturous. Front desk staff unable to help locate TV on off button - all these culminate into a terrible experience with this hotel"

"Rudest woman ever was working the desk. The app had switched my info with my wife’s info, so the lady wouldn’t let me stay there, and wouldn’t give me a refund. I’ll never stay there again."
