Cancun Escénica Tower Hotels

"Food was nothing great. Restaurants were good but only given 2 reservations for 5 nights. First room we got was the size of a wall in closet, with mold on the ceiling. They gave us a new room the next day which was much better. There is not much to do for college age kids after the shows end. More of a budget family resort. The beach is so small and not what we expected. Drinks were good, overall a budget very average experience. Had we not paid for excursions we would have been bored to death. "

"We had a great time during our stay! The food is good, the drinks and bartenders are great! There is no cheating out on the drinks for sure! Everything is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is definitely catered to partying, there are a lot of lifestyle people since it is top optional- which was no problem to us, but even being in the lifestyle my whole adult life I have never encountered people who partied so much. I’ve been to spring break in Cancun and live in a college town and never have saw so many people partying so hard for so many days in a row. The quiet pool is a hack if you want to calm down and just enjoy your vacation. All the improvements I would recommend are ones that the hotel goals wouldn’t align with. The beach area isn’t huge, but was empty most days anyways so you have your pick of chairs. I would say it lacked other activities other than drinking, there is a small pool room, but didn’t see it in use much. And the rooftop bar is really nice, Diego was a great bartender! The timeshare aspect is a bit much, they talk you into signing up for a breakfast meeting and they take a $20 deposit that you get back at the meeting-honestly just loose the twenty dollars and count that as payment for not having to listen to the spill. They let you check in early and out late and have access to everything which is really nice! "

"Our booking was for Grand Oasis Palm but at reception they provided light blue bend which not allow us to use Sin properly, Rep from desk told us our reservation came from third party not Expedia and they do not want to see my actual Expedia booking, we contacted Expedia and they still investigating to provide us answer and partial refund we chat to Expedia agent from day one ro end but still waiting. Our room 333 had water leaks from AC unit and had pieces of ceilings fell down, Next day got new room but no hot water for first day, called for service but no one showed up at all finally we stopped by at desk and ask them to come with is to check but still no one shows till another 1/2 hours, Many time we call for room service but no one responded "

"Room was clean and beautiful. We didn’t get the VIP greeting as promised or turn down service nightly but the staff we dealt with were accommodating and delightful. We loved out the property wasn’t so big that you would have to walk long distances to get to places. The staff is always working behind the scenes to prepare for events. Loved the beach, they keep it clean. "
