Let me start with check - in Odalys was amazing! She listened to everything we said and gave us an amazing room! Honestly more than we dreamt of :) and Expedia is amazing at adding extras. Favorite people that go above and beyond at breakfast- absolutely every waiter At the pool bar- Luigi! Playmakers also amazing, smiling and interacting with guests. People that help with luggage … seriously staff at this resort is AMAZING!!!

As guest of temptation for over 15 years, I have to say things have really gone downhill. It used to be if you were a reoccurring guest you would be treated with a VIP treatment. Not anymore they don’t care. The place is rundown and is in desperate need of a makeover. The tacky wallpaper and furnishing are getting pretty old. The food was the worst we’ve ever had. Every restaurant even the buffet the food was bad. I must say the waitresses and waiters around the pool were very attentive. But there’s just nothing to do at temptation, but lay by the pool and watch their dumb show that their playmates put on. The upstairs pool and lounge is the worst. It is so rundown I felt like I was in an abandoned building. The bartenders and the waitresses were extremely rude up there. The pool was ice cold. The decking is in desperate need of some TLC. The whole place is in shambles. It’s really sad to see this. I’ve heard they are getting rid of the quiet area. (trendy garden area.) this is sad because it’s the only decent part of this hotel. If you plan on going here don’t plan on sleeping. It is very loud all night long. The place smells of old hooker and mold. All around it was a bad experience and I do not recommend. There are much better places in Cancun.

We’ve stayed in both the trendy and tower rooms before, and while the tower is our favorite for the extra space, amenities, and views (wink!), you’ll have a fantastic trip no matter which you choose. Our butlers Alex and Nacho were amazing and so helpful when we needed to extend our trip 2 nights due to a cancelled flight. I can’t say enough good things about them. I’ve heard a lot of complaints from repeat guests (mostly members, which we are not) regarding recent changes, but this trip may have been our favorite, and we will certainly be back. It is the frontline employees that continue to make TTR exceptional.

Came back to Temptation Cancun to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing time. The vibe was on point, but what really stood out this visit was the service and food. Sutra was a highlight, and Jones made the night memorable — attentive, professional, and really elevated the whole experience. Definitely birthday-worthy. The Sexy Pool bartenders were also on their A-game, bringing great energy and keeping the drinks flowing all day. Service across the resort felt top notch, and the food was consistently solid. Temptation continues to do what it does best, and this birthday trip was a great reminder of why people keep coming back. If you know, you know.

The place and management staff are terrible. Service staff and bartenders are great but the only reason we go is because of the guests. Wouldn't honor my massage voucher from the time share presentation because I only had a picture of it. They wanted the physical copy. Any loop hole to try to screw you they will take. I don't recommend to do the time share, it's 4 hours and a complete waste of money. If you do, make sure your get a set of couple massages and the upgraded steak and lobster at a VIP table at she at a minimum. We heard that alot of people were only offered one or the other. Ask for more if you do it.

I honestly don’t know if I’d give a whole star. On three several times 3 different Roaches in my room. The front desk when approached just acted like it is absolutely no big deal. Do u want us to spray?? Spray while my belongings are in the room.. Room service was very fast, yet the order was always mixed up somehow. Wait staff asked if they could go get items that I was missing or still wanted. I gave him a 20 dollar tip and he said he’d return in 5 minutes. Needless to say never saw him or another waitstaff the remainder of the night.
