“Unfortunately, our experience at The Elms did not live up to the expectations or the price we paid for our 3-night stay. Given the premium rates, especially for a busy weekend, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness, comfort, & attention to detail. “BEAUTIFUL, charming space! Hands down, a much more quiet and affordable option than a room at the nearby Elms. Safe, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Would absolutely stay again!”

“Cozy house near downtown/The Elms. Clean, comfortable beds, perfect for a sister weekend get away.”

It’s the small things like a Brita in the fridge (tap water in Excelisor is quite good), coffee Kcups, fun coffee mugs, a well stocked kitchen, etc…that tells you about the care that goes into the rental. “This was a pretty standard hotel. The bathroom had been remodeled but appeared to be unfinished. There were refillable dispensers for body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast was pretty standard. There was a waffle machine, biscuits, sausage and gravy and numerous breads. No fresh fruit. Coffee, tea and juice. OK for one night while traveling”

I called the place from my cell phone and asked if that was part of the experience I was supposed to have. No apology from him. I did not call angry, I was very polite.……
