「Beautiful saltwater pool overlooking the ocean, very friendly helpful family at reception, very clean, great location, food available or use kitchen.」

「I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...

「This accommodation is a private room adjacent to the owner’s home. The location is excellent for exploring Raiatea and joining local tours. A good small grocery store is just steps away, and a large Carrefour in town is within biking distance. The room is comfortable, and the bathroom feels new, clean, and fresh. Outside, there is a seating area with chairs, a table, and patio umbrellas, offering views of the lush green mountains. A few friendly and adorable dogs stop by from time to time,...

「This is an awesome place - lovingly created and cared for by the owners. There is beautiful art all around and the view is amazing. But keep in mind that it's not for everyone. It's set back on a hill in the jungle. Getting to the beach involves riding a bike 15-20 minutes or renting a scooter or car. We got a car. I wouldn't recommend it for seniors, young children or people with mobility issues. There are some steps down to the bathroom and the walkways can be a little tricky for older folks. 」

「I could not stay here. The property was not on the beach as it was advertised and when I showed this to the owner he became verbally abusive to me and demanded I leave the property. I was threatened by him and feared my safety.」

「We just stayed three nights at Fare Manta. The property was lovely, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and the hosts Nathalie and Stefan (and their sweet dog Lhasa) warm and welcoming. It’s not right on the ocean, but you’re only 100 yards away, Highly recommended.」

「Overall, I thought it was nice and comfortable. Google maps originally took me to the wrong place, but we got it sorted out. They seem to have a fair number of animals - besides a couple of dogs and a cat, I definitely heard a rooster as well. So it could be a little disruptive overnight when you're trying to sleep if you're not used to that sort of thing.」
