“We have stayed at the Milestone a number of times, and we’ve always enjoyed ourselves. For the most part, the rooms have been in good condition, but I think we’ve mostly stayed in the back building on a second floor. This time (late August, 2026) we were in the main building on the first floor. The room is clearly old and needs some updating. It’s evident from the bathroom through the bedroom. The rooms were clean, but that’s about it. Even the hair dryer barely worked! We are not fussy……

“Very basic motel room, but clean and at great price within minutes of beaches and villages such as Ogunquit and Kennebunkport.”

“Never received the room we booked they placed us in the corner of the building, they advised ocean front that was not happening no were to sit outside, was woken up by people outside being noisy at 3 am for a good half an hour.And I guess they have people who rent for the winter months (no comment) Cigarette butts all throughout the parking lot. The mattress was super uncomfortable, had to clean the refrigerator freezer door would not open all frozen up. So if you want to take a chance at this……

“My review is more about Expedia than the Blue Jay Motel. The motel was fine, clean, added some nice beach decor, shower was great, the stove and oven were on the smallish side, but it was a small kitchen to begin with. We had all the utensiles, silverware and plateware we needed. My main issue is with Expedia. I will admit right off the bat that I messed up and only booked two nights instead of three, but thought I had booked three nights. On the third day, I was getting emails from Expedia……

“Definitely an older property, but it had everything we needed for one night stay.”
