“Amazing property with excellent view. One con is that you may need to carry your luggage upstairs. We opted to leave it downstairs and carry only what is needed. There is also a washing machine - that was great to get our clothes refreshed. Tranquility stay. Highly recommend this place. Host is super responsive and attends to your needs via whatsap.”

“Our stay was incredible. The apartment itself is beautiful, but the view/location are spectacular. With a pair of binoculars, we saw whales from our doorstep in the fjord. It was such a peaceful/meditative environment. We were lucky enough to run into Thomas, our host, who was very kind/generous with his time and suggestions. We even received an entire PDF booklet with instructions for the house, but also recommendations all around Iceland; this was a really thoughtful/helpful touch. The kitchen……

“Our host, Olafur, was wonderful. He gave us the amazing family history of this home. Everything was as stated amenity-wise. I would make a note that there is a washer/dryer. Special thanks for accommodating an extra person for three nights. We were able to have three generations all together.”

“Booking, check in, and check out were all very easy! Great response times from the host concerning questions prior to the stay, as well as during our stay - to include Christmas Eve! Nice location as the apartment was close enough to downtown amenities for us to walk. Three grocery stores located within walking distance, or a short 2 minute drive. Plenty of storage for clothing and luggage. ”
