“The host cancelled last minute. I sent a message via VRBO app 14 hours before just to touch base with him. He didn’t respond. When I called him to let him know we would be getting in late, he told me the house is not functional. He was apologetic. But left us high and dry. We searched all the hotels in Reykjavík and all were full due to the pride parade happening. I tried calling him back to help settle this with VRBO and he ghosted me. I’m sure he’s a nice guy. But sleeping at the airport……

“We had an excellent stay here. Everything was exactly as it was in the photos and descriptions. It was very easy to find, and easy to get to. We had a shorter stay, and it was a great location for us to access our other activities. The house was very clean and perfectly prepared for our arrival. The porch, hot tub and sauna outside were wonderful to utilize. As a group of seven, the house was a great size.
