Macdonald Crutherland House and Spa

Macdonald Crutherland House and Spa

8/10 Good
"We were in room 220 and the shower door did not keep the water in so the bathroom floor was flooded every time you took a shower. There are a lot of doors going from section to section some push some pull - that was a pain. The breakfast was substantial and delicious. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Wallpaper peeling in some areas. Needs a little TLC. The grounds are beautiful and well tended. We did like it apart from the shower situation."

"Bed was nice and comfy, good tea and coffee selection & towels super fluffy. I had fish and chips for my evening meal and it was delicious!. My room was spacious but a little Tierd & dated compared to some other hotels I have stayed at. All in all I had a good sleep in a clean comfortable bed. I would recommend riverside lodge for an overnight stay or a short break."

"Booked this hotel for the commonwealth games. It was our (sister) first time in Glasgow. The front desk or staff were helpful during check-in and our stay. Our room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was ok but the pool/gym and sauna were excellent. Good Wi-Fi. Location for public transport was close (bus stop 5mins and train 10mins walk). Will definitely return. We both had a good time."
