“The room was clean but did not like the smell of the room, maybe they should use a better smelling cleaning agent. i also had to pay a $100USD deposit for the room that was not outlined in the booking. bedsheets seemed to be very old and i was charged for leaving make-up stains on the pillow, which i am sure would be easily washed out when washing the bed sheets.”

“The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The staff were courteous and helpful. The Jamaican breakfast was delicious. The air conditioning along with the fan worked well. Good running water in the shower. The grounds were well kept. I have absolutely no complaints. When I saw the hotel rating I was curious as to how this older hotel has such an excellent rating (9/1 0). There was nothing here that could be considered modern except for their brilliant idea to use solar panels as covering for……

“I had an amazing time at this villa from the staff treating me so amazing. I felt just like I was at home The views are so amazing. The pool is so awesome. It really was a great experience at this villa. I’m definitely coming back to Jamaica and staying at this villa I felt so safe. The market isn’t far and the people are perfect. I love Jamaica and staying at this villa made it even more amazing.thank you”

“I had no water for two days of the 4 I stayed there was no breakfast available i was told it’s under renovation”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast at the hotel was phenomenal. One issue was that we were stranded outside the hotel one night as gate was closed and it took half an hour for the security guard to hear us and open the gate. Hotel may wish to consider giving guests a keynote or a gate pass in case they return late and security does not hear them or to provide an emergency contact tact to the security or management. But apart from that it was a lovely stay.”

“The owners were very attentive; they accommodated our arrival time and gave us tips about the city—they were very kind. The house was beautiful, and the room was incredibly bright, featuring a terrace with an amazing view of the surrounding nature. The pool was clean, and the outdoor area, was stunning. The only thing that seemed disproportionate to me was the A/C fee—$50 per night struck me as excessive.”
