Jingumae hotels in Tokyo

"There’s a metro station across from the hotel which was very convenient. The hotel also has restaurants and a Family Mart which came in handy for late snacks or early morning coffee. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to the Disney parks was great. "

"The twin bunk bead room on the 7th floor faced the main street, but with provided earplugs it was fairly quiet and cozy. Loved the view from the elevated platform for the bunks. Yes, the room is tight but was impeccably clean and we did have room for 2 carryons, a larger piece and two duffels. There is a storage cubby under the bunk platform but we did not use it. Also, each bunk has a light, charger outlets and phone holder. You enter the hotel four levels above street level and lobby is attached to a public café which is then attached to an elevated park. The hotel also has a bar/restaurant and a top floor bar which we did not go to. The location in Shibuya is fantastic for boutique shopping restaurants, et cetera. It is a couple blocks away from the busiest areas but at night feels very quiet."

"While the room size was just sufficient for our luggage, we found the laundry facilities lacking; the dryers were ineffective, forcing us to air-dry damp clothes in our room. However, despite these minor inconveniences, the overall service was exceptional. The hotel location is near the train station thus making our trips to and from Shibuya very easy. There will be a next time for us to book in this hotel."

"The room was very dated, from the 1980s, and we found mold in the bathroom. Yet when I brought it up to the hotel staff, they blamed it on the system between companies like hotels.com and the hotels. They said they never claimed to be a 4 stars hotel, and apologized for the condition of our room and offered an upgrade to a renovated room but had to charge us an extra fee. "

"The best hotel I've ever stayed at. Everything was in pristine condition, well thought of, and the staff were amazing. As soon as we entered the building we were greeted by helpful staff and a wonderful clean and calming aroma. There's a convenience store (Family Mart) that has direct access to the hotel. As well as the Shiomi train station being a 3 minute walk away. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options from Japanese breakfast to traditional American. I definitely recommend this hotel and most likely will come back to this establishment when I'm back in Japan! Thank you! 10/10 "
