「Loved the convenient location of this Lodge. Staff are AMAZING. Of course there's always ONE young lady who has to disappoint, at the front desk! That 'attitude!' Wish I'd looked a bit closer at her name tag. Restaurant is so nice, staff are incredible there!. Food is good. Breakfast especially nice! Rooms are not very big, but the linens are FRESH and the beds SO comfortable. I would highly recommend should you be coming off a LONG international flight and need to rest.」

「Excellent! Our first floor room was spacious and well decorated with all ameneties including tea/coffee, fridge, beach towels etc. TV had Netflix etc. More St James than Kalk Bay but only 10mins walk to Kalk Bay. Breakfast was excluded but we just added and the choice was extensive. parking was available just around the corner. 「Breakfast very expensive so we went elsewhere. Went to eat at the rooftop restaurant and wanted to charge it to room but couldn’t the waitress called desk and came back and said room did not have credit, this has never happened to me in a hotel so wonder why? Also water only given to room on first day.why?? No shuttle from airport made this inconvenient so won t stay here again.」

「location wise, It's not exactly at the waterfront area, however, it's still well connect with the most pleasant area in Cape Town. I think the complimentary shuttle boat make the difference. We had a mountain view double room, which is quite amazing. We can see the table mountain directly from our window. The parking is quite nice, however, there's an extra fee on it. The stuffs are nice, still lack of experience. In general, I'd stay here again if I had the chance to visit the city again.」
