Top La Madera Hotel Reviews

Hotel Luna Mystica

Hotel Luna Mystica

10/10 Excellent
"This is not a standard hotel. It's a set of parked classic trailers (like Airstreams). Instead of a room or a suite you get a trailer - so it's basically a small apartment. Hotel management wants to keep the trailers as close to their original furnishings and mechanical systems as possible, but that's a challenge, so there are some things that don't work perfectly. If you require perfection, this isn't the hotel for you. But, if you enjoy a bit of nostalgia and whimsy and can work with the very helpful staff, then you can have great fun."

Stunning Views of Taos Mountain, 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Luxury Guesthouse

10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely perfect spot for a Taos getaway! Gorgeous views and great private neighborhood, but easy drive to town. The guesthouse is lovely and hosts had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Plenty of space for 2 couples for 3 nights, but it would also be a magical place for a longer stay for just 2 people. We travel frequently, often book VRBOs and have visited Taos several times. This may be the best place we have ever stayed. I could expound on all the things that made it perfect; comfy beds, plenty of seating, great local information, etc., but I would go on forever. Thank you Luellen, for sharing your wonderful home and making us feel so welcome!"

Casa Ambrosia: Unique Adobe Home with Mountain Views in a Beautiful River Valley

8/10 Good
"This is a special property. Its location is very serene and quiet and lovely. It’s only 20 minutes from Ojo Caliente Hot Springs and a lovely hour-long drive to Taos. Our crew enjoyed exploring the area and then retreating to the Casa! The beds were comfortable, the shower was also good. As mentioned in other reviews, the kitchen is well-stocked with equipment for making meals. I recommend getting to the property before dark. It isn’t a difficult drive, but it’s out in the country and the signage is there and subtle . The host provides excellent instructions and..get there before dark! She also warned us the card lock pad is touchy and it did take several tries every time, but it worked! The road to the property isn’t ideal for cars without good clearance. We had a truck and were glad we did. Compact cars, vans etc are probably fine, but not low to the ground sports cars The sun room is lovely and we spent a lot of time in there. It would be great if the screen doors were fully functional - we would’ve loved to have had even more fresh air circulating through the home. The Casa was clean and inviting. We hope to stay here again! Thank you!"
