Our room was dated and had a persistent odor that felt like a mix of humidity and mold. “The JW Marriott was the perfect weekend getaway. The staff were friendly, and very attentive to your needs. I opted out of the All inclusive package, but guests confirmed that several on site restaurants were up to standard and near worth it. The sandbar was convenient, and offered the opportunity to watch the World Cup. The property overall was spacious, and grounds were well kept. “Great place to relax and enjoy some local food with lots of opportunities to do excursions if you're up for a little action and site seeing. The staff at Margaritaville are kind and fun. The resort is well kept and has great amenities there's also a reasonable amount of activities for kids and adults. “We stayed at the family tree top tent for 5 nights and it was an amazing experience. Nekajui's location is absolutely prime, and the wildlife outside our tent and around the property was unreal! They assign a Mantu to help you schedule reservations and ours was very helpful. The service for a Ritz Carlton Reserve however, could be a bit better at times. “The entire property was a 10+. All the employees went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Taco, the bartender/waiter, was great, he offered great advice on the area and made a heck of a Pina Colada. He deserves a raise.”

“The window in the room is frosted which IMO is absurd, especially in a place as beautiful as CR. I asked for a different room and was told all the rooms have just one window that is completely frosted. I don't mind a small room, but a small room without an actual window isn't tolerable for me.
