“Convenient location. Not cheap but nice overall”

“This is a gem of a hotel in a gem of a city. The property dates back to the early days of Guthrie and has been artfully updated. Our room was spacious and quiet. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The grounds are beautiful. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a piece of history.”

“The breakfast was fresh and sufficient. The room was spacious and comfortable. Elevator was slow and the single elevator did not effectively accommodate the guest load.”

“Incredible unique place in Gutheie Ok...the host was one of the best customer service people I have ever met. She went above and beyond anything we expected...It was so nice and enjoyable we will be back on our next Girls Trip in Guthrie Ok...rooms were wonderful and decorated like something out of a magazine.... Loved it!!!!”

“This motel was well-maintained. It had a lot of electrical outlets, which is very important to me. Everything worked well. Of special note was the sincerely kind and helpful manner of Rhonda, the evening front desk clerk. She gave us good information and was exceptionally welcoming. Rhonda was very concerned that we would have a good stay. The hot breakfast buffet was above expectations with a very wide assortment of items. This is where many motel amenities fall short of the mark, but……

“The room I chose was a 1 bed King. It was clean and very comfortable–exactly what I needed! The check-in/out process was smooth and easy. I asked for a late check out. They only granted an hour (I asked for 2 hours), but it was still helpful for my schedule. I will definitely stay here again.”

“The carpet was absolutely filthy, took shoes off at the door and walked from the beds to the bathroom and around the room and my white socks looked like i had walked 5 miles outside. No hot water in the sink only cold. $20 per pet per night, $80, was ridiculous for the condition of the room. We will not stay here again, would definitely recommend spending the extra 10-20 dollars for one of the surrounding motels/hotels.”

“The bedside lamp didn’t work because there was no power from the outlet. A staff member came and brought another lamp, but that didn’t solve the problem since the outlet itself had no electricity. The issue was never fixed during our stay. Very disappointing service.”
