“The soundproof was not good at all. During late evening and early in the morning, the footsteps from upstairs were SO LOUD. We could not sleep well due to the noise. The squeaking sound was crazy, as the guests kept walking. Sound proof of walls on the same floor was ok, not silent, but totally acceptable. Apart from the noise, everything is fine. The location is good. Not too far from town centre. It has a big car park, so perfect for a rest in the middle of road trip. Cleaniness is also……

“A unique and quaint property. Owners have a long history with owning the beautiful lodge. Perfect for what we needed (1 might stop over). Would love to go back once fully renovated as a wedding venue. It has so much potential and I wish them all the best. Quirky fact - Charles Dickens stayed here back in his heyday! ”

“Lovely little guest house with the restaurant below it. The person at the checkout was welcoming and friendly, he brought my luggage up for me to my room which is really helpful because there's no lift, only stairs. Food was delicious (Asian-approved spiciness) and staff was nice. On the Sat evening when I was there , there had been a live band playing outside the restaurant area, they had a stage for live performances. Lovely atmosphere with good food and music. “位置偏僻但如果是度假的定位是可以接受的 這間飯店裝潢很有風格 房間舒適度應可以很高 但因清潔沒做好（前一晚有慶祝婚禮 我們的房間有一間有很重的狗臭味 另一間則是衛浴有臭味） 我個人覺得滿意 但住不同房間的同行友人卻覺得清潔沒做好而留下壞印象”
