「Spending Christmas at Lido Beach Resort in Sarasota was a gift from my husband. We had a lovely and relaxing stay. In the little village of Saint Armand, there were plenty of restaurants and shops open even during the Christmas holiday. The dining in the hotel itself was exceptional. The food was hot, fast, and delicious in spite of the incredible crowds. I do recommend making reservations if you have a particular time that you want to eat if you are there during a busy time.
