“First rate accommodations with the infinity pool a special blessing in the July heat. Marigold was great, as always.”

“Friendly professional staff. The. Breakfast at Mac’s was wonderful.”

“The property was much larger than expected and included a lake. Our cabin was tucked in the woods off of a one lane paved road, with good parking spaces. We had a few mosquitoes in our cabin, and also a spider that stayed in its upper corner of the bathroom. The beds and pillows in our two bedroom cabin were very comfortable. Most of the channels on the TV were a little out of focus and we were unable to mirror our phones on the TV, even through we had property internet connected. The breakfast……

“Kinda different to talk via text other than a front desk assistant but it was easy and very smooth.”

“Charming B&B that has lots of nice touches. Wide staircase marked well so you don't trip. Well decorated rooms with luggage rack, multiple mirrors and tons of pillows on the bed. Everything was thought of, including extra towels, snacks, and even place cards at breakfast. Be aware that the rooms only lock from the inside, meaning you cannot lock your room while you are out for the day/evening.”

“We stayed here for a wedding at a nearby vineyard. It was very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Our host were lovely and communicative. We would highly recommend staying here.”

“This was such an awesome and unique place to stay. Peaceful and charming with all the needed comforts. The hosts were great. We loved waking up to the sound of roosters and seeing all the farm animals. We highly recommend and will be back.”

“Great house and host!!”

“We had a nice time! The cabin was beautiful with a beautiful lake view”

“We loved this property! Amazing location, amenities, clean, communicative host and property manager. Property is just as pictured. This worked so well for our family summer week. We’ll be coming back again next year (if not sooner).”

“This place was perfect for our father/son fishing weekend. We caught 33 fish in 2 days!!! We loved being able to use the kayaks and the hosts were very responsive. We will definitely be back.”

“The cottage had everything you need.”

“My partner and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary with a cabin retreat that was nothing short of magical. The setting was serene and picturesque—nestled beside a stunning lake that shimmered at sunset and offered peaceful morning views. The cabin itself was spotless and beautifully rustic, striking the perfect balance between cozy charm and modern comfort. Highly recommend for couples looking to celebrate something special or simply escape into nature together.”

“Tracy was very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was great.”

“If you are looking for a getaway in the woods, this is it. Tucked away in a private lot you can have a camping experience without the tent! Fire pit, grill, woods! Great place for a small family. Lake Anna State park entrance took about 25 minutes to get too. We hiked and played on the beach. Lake access is not a close walk. Especially with littles. Trash was a pain because the dump wasn’t open at 9:15 and they said you need a local Id. We ended up taking the trash home. Eek. Otherwise place……
