"A tale of two days. First day front desk service was extremely accommodating, signed me up for Marriot Bonvoy to check me in early, and ensured a late check out. Then my flight was canceled and I needed to extend my stay. I was told I would be able to stay in the same room, no issues. Next day, the female GM called me and asked why I hadn’t checked out. I explained the situation, she said I needed to change rooms. I said I was in the middle of a meal in the hotel lobby. She said the room was booked and I needed to move within the hour. Said she’d have all my stuff moved if I didn’t move it. I was on a weekend trip with my significant other and didn’t want personal and sentimental items moved by hotel staff. Got a new room key and rushed to eat in order to move my belongings. Then was called again by the GM and was told they sorted it out, allowing me to stay in my original room after all that fuss. Then was denied my desired late check out time because I wasn’t a Marriot Bonvoy member; Which I signed up for at check-in and needed to be on the WiFi. Two male front desk employees were very friendly and accommodating. Female front desk employee was unengaged and uncaring. GM was unaccommodating and unhelpful. Free water machine near the elevators was awesome."
