“We had a blast! We had 4 adults and 2 dogs and the accommodations were perfect! The location was amazing - you can’t beat the view! The upstairs loft was so fun with a TV, games, guitars and books. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very convenient so we didn’t need to have every meal out. There was plenty of space with comfortable furniture to relax. “Nice old Historic Hotel, with a great history and story. But, you definitely have to drive for food/beverage. There are numerous one way roads and steep hills. Also there is an obvious homeless problem in this town, very sad.”

“We had coffee on the deck watching the waves and storms roll through. Right in the heart of Mendocino, you can walk the entire town from the front door. Really fun to see the place in the opening credits of Murder, She Wrote! Fantastic stay, definitely will be back!”

“The staff especially Angel was amazing. They really made this stay great. The Mendocino area is wonderful and the hotel was centrally located and perfect for visiting. ”

“Easy check-in/check-out. Staff was friendly, though we did get some incorrect info about what restaurants were open. Room has a bit of a musty/old smell, but otherwise clean. The blankets are a bit thin (but there were extras available), and the towels a bit scratchy. Great location, and lovely view of sunset colors!”
