“We have been to Virginia Beach many times but this was our first time staying at the Colony. We were in one of the end rooms and found the floor plan worked very well and the rooms were spacious. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The balcony was the largest of all of the places we had stayed at in Virgina Beach. The only downside to the balcony is that our room was very close to the neighboring hotel so there wasn't a feeling of privacy. The kitchen was well equipped. We……

“Pool was very nice for our grandchildren. Condo was clean. The only thing that was a surprise was that one of the 2 elevators for the building was not in use during check in, it did get repaired a few days later. Since we were on the 4th floor we had to wait in line to use the working elevator.”

“Definitely loved this condo! The interior was very clean, kitchen was laid out nice, beds were comfortable, and livingroom furniture tasteful. The bathroom shower head does need to be replaced, as it was full of buildup and I had to scrub it real good in order for water to flow decently. The king size bedroom fan did not have a remote like the other bedroom. I'm assuming maybe someone took it and they never replaced it. The bathroom towels supplied were thick and newer, and the bedroom linens……

We like being able to walk to the northside beach and have always enjoyed chatting with the neighbors (and have had great neighbors). “Overall, the place was very clean and conveniently located near everything we needed. It was just as described with a big bathroom and two bedrooms and a big common area. Our biggest issue was the noise. There was quite a bit of street noise, as well as noise from the unit above us, which made it difficult to sleep at times. If you’re a heavy sleeper, this may not be an issue, but light sleepers may want to consider a top-floor unit in the same complex. Otherwise, the location and cleanliness……

“The property was spotless and very spacious. More than enough room for me and my four children while they came to Virginia Beach to visit me during their summer break. Close to the beach and boardwalk so we were never out of things to do. We had a blast.Communication was readily available and everything that you could need was already in the house, making the stay extremely smooth and easy. Would do again and was my top rental experience for Virginia Beach.”

“This studio condo was EXACTLY as advertised and very clean with lots of amenities (coffee pods, snacks, spices, towels, robes, beach chairs, you name it!). The owners were VERY responsive and polite and the check in and check out instructions were very clear. The only tiny factor is that the balcony isn't a full one where you can sit, but the view was fantastic right over the beach and there are plenty of chairs on the lawn below if you don't want to take the beach chairs out to the sand. “This place was very nice! Clean, comfortable, and accommodating! The host thought to have things in the unit people might have forgotten or didn’t bring, like an iron, salt & pepper, beach towels & blanket, a body board and family board games. All the appliances were nice and updated, there was kitchen cook wear, silverware, ect.. Overall an excellent place for a family vacation!”

“The place has roaches, like tiny baby roaches, saw a few huge roaches. The microwave doesnt have a turn table. The coffee pots don't work. The bathtub in the guest room doesnt drain properly. The unit had a bad smell in the kitchen. Floors where dirty, walls dirty, and the cabinets dirty. You my dear need a very bad deep cleaning. Your place could be very nice. Overall the location was perfect, the view amazing, the beds are comfortable. Just so you know alot of guest in the building were……

“Our host was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The property is in the perfect location - steps to the beach, flat walk out across the dunes and white sand. Lovely views from the porch. Gorgeous sunsets. Quiet community. Bridge traffic was not disruptive - once on the beach you hear waves over the traffic. The apartment has all accommodations needed. Convenience store in walking distance and grocery store and other needs are a quick drive.My family and I look forward to……
