Great location!

We stayed in this property just under a week and were happy with our stay. The location is great and having access to a pool and provided beach gear was great. One thing to note is the unit did lack a few things that are typically provided in VRBOs - you have to bring your own coffee filters, cooking oil, etc.

Could not ask for a better stay!

This property is very nice and well equipped. It is part of a resort community that is run with great care. It was clean EVERYWHERE. No dead leaves on the sidewalk. Excellent pool, spa and gym. Excellent location. If only they could have made the weather a bit warmer!

Great vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation with our family and some friends. The location was perfect. It was a short walk to the beach and it was perfect for the kids! We loved all of the amenities too. A warning for families who want to rent: This place was advertised as great for families. We had a three, two, and one year old with us. They were in bed by 8pm every night. The neighbors under us called and complained they could hear kids. It was 3 in the afternoon and they were just being kids, nothing out of control. With that being said, it was a great place to stay and we had a great vacation but I don’t know if I would want to stay there with kids again just because of the neighbors underneath.

Beautiful Place

The condo was exactly what was described and pictured. The balcony off the master was my favorite part of the condo. We arrived late on a Saturday, check in was very easy. The next morning we had an issue with the kitchen sink being clogged. I contacted the number on the book located in the condo. I heard from maintenance Monday morning. We were not at the condo that morning but by the time we returned back late that night, the sink issue had been resolved. We loved the Koi pond and feeding the fish. Our only suggestion would be to either limit the number of children or not allow them in the hot tub after a certain hour. We tried to go to the hot tub around 9pm to relax after a day of exploring but turned around when we got there due to the amount of kids in it. Other than that we had a wonderful stay. We liked being within walking distance to the beach, dining, bars and shops. Perfect location!

Great location, great unit, but very hot

Overall this was a great unit. I'll echo from another review that the Playstation was not working, which was an issue because the 4 and 5 year olds with us saw it and then it became a whole thing that the adults couldn't get it working. The beach gear provided was in good working order, would have liked to see a canopy or something for shade but we brought our own. The community pool was a nice change of pace option from the beach, we alternated days. Proximity to the beach was amazing and there are some cool restaurant choices in the harbor that you can walk to. I will say to please note that this unit DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. I am not dinging a star for that because the listing doesn't claim it, but we didn't think to check either and happened to be there in a major heat wave. The cross ventilation wasn't cutting it and during the day it was very uncomfortable. Make sure you are okay with that before booking.

Great place to stay. Girls weekend in Oceanside. Perfect location and condo for us to stay. Close to restaurants and coffee shops. The place was clean and exactly as described. Would definitely stay there again!

Nicer than expected!

The view of the ocean was amazing! Overall positive but had some quarks. PS3 was not in working status. The skylight in the upstairs bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in awhile and is above the shower. For large groups needed proper amount of toiletries supplied ( includes T.P., Kleenex,). Layout and pool was nice. Nicely updated but needs a few repairs ( entry door and faucet in kitchen). Location was better than expected. Overall very beautiful place and nice people to work with. We would recommend! Thank you!

Fantastic property

We have stayed in multiple properties at NCV and this was by far the best experience. The accommodations were superb. Plenty of room for everyone. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings were nice and we really appreciated the supplies available to us. Every need seemed to be thought of by the owner. The location and views were great(minus the train) but even that was covered by the earplugs provided!! We will definitely be back!

Amazing place!!

This was our second time at North Coast Village and it was amazing! This 3 bedroom is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The beds are comfortable and the owners are very clever in their bed choices, giving you lots of options! Our family of 6 found it perfect for our group. The master bedroom is a place you won’t want to leave! Unless it’s to walk to the beach and back. It’s breathtaking. We had everything we needed and more as this place is fully stocked and ready to make it your home away from home. We would definitely like to stay here again. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Great beach escape before school

So, let me start by saying this was our 5th time staying at North Coast Village. We absolutely love this property as it reminds us of Maui and is a sweet escape from HOT Arizona. The property is beautiful and it's so convenient to walk down the pier or over to the marina. The bars and restaurants all were very busy due to outdoor dining only. This condo was beautiful (The penthouses are by far the way to go as you have two floors and you can escape and enjoy the weather!) The condo was loaded with a beach wagon and chairs, soft blankets and even a playstation for the kids. The office set up was convenient for all of us working the whole time and we never had an issue with the wifi. The TV downstairs is internet ready with Netflix and is great for watching movies at the end of the day. This trip was a little tough on us because Covid.... Since we have stayed at the property a ton I didn't read through everything the property manager sent which was quite hidden in another link that stated that due to covid you had to literally schedule *one hour of pool time each day.* We didn't find that out until we checked in at night with security which, of course wasn't their fault. This probably would have changed my decision a bit since we work and planned on having the kids go to the pool more during the day and the people checking you in were very rude and mask crazy even though we were outside. The actual person watching the pool was very kind. It ended up working out because the pool isn't heated and the jacuzzi isn't available bc covid...so we really never stayed at the pool long. It was very warm for Cali on our trip and that made not having air conditioning in this particular unit rather challenging. We opened all windows and doors every moment we were in the condo and still couldn't get it cool during the hottest parts of the day. I can't imagine that being a problem for most trips just happened to be warm during this one. We also couldn't get the upstairs master fan to work but just plugged in one of the box fans to get some air from the patio into the room. It's a corner unit so no one on one side of us and right up the stairs which is convenient from coming up the parking lot however this condo is located SO close to the beach which is awesome, it is also much louder than the middle of the property...however they do have a sound machine and ear plugs for the noise. That all being said we would definitely stay here again.

Rain Rain go Away

Even though it's off season and the skies were not sunny all day, the condo has great views of the ocean and compound is very nice. TVs in every room, a gas fireplace and it looks like the carpets and the paint on the walls are good quality. A very comfortable place for sure!

Lovely Place

The condo is just lovely and spotless. The lush grounds of the gated village and ocean view were so relaxing. The only issue we had was lack of communication response from the agency regarding no heat on first floor (living room/kitchen, bath and 2 bedrooms) from Saturday arrival to Monday. We were unable to reach any On The Sand representative through email, or the notebook message portal provided in the condo, or at the after hours assistance number listed in the renter’s info. book in the unit. The daytime temperatures were in the 50’s and night time in the 40’s during that time. My husband checked the fuse box. Both fuses for the fireplace and wall heater were connected by a metal plate and in off position. Therefore, it was unclear whether it was safe to activate since they were plated and in off position when all others and upstairs heater were on. On Monday on-the-sand sent a maintenance representative to the unit to check the units and turn on . So all was well after that. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. If flipping the plated fuses to ‘off’ is customary, clarifying info and directions added to the renter’s book in the unit would have prevented a very uncomfortable couple of days.
