Yucatán was a nice place to go and relax - it’s close to the beach so you can enjoy both the pools and gulf waters - plenty of places to take pictures in - if you want a more party scene I recommend Cancun

Food is amazing. Property super clean. The only downside was the activity for kids…especially above 8yeats old. Not so much to do. We were there in summer, pool was really hot in the afternoon. Other then that, we really enjoyed our stay !

We stay very frequently in Playa Car , and have stayed at almost every resort there. This, by far, has been the best experience, even out of other RIU hotels. Staff was great, very friendly. Food was great, PLENTY to choose from. Great pools. Comfortable rooms . Will definitely be staying here again

We loved the staff. Everyone was kind and helpful and the entertainment staff was so much fun! We did NOT like that the pools close so early. That was a big dissatisfaction. Also, we don’t drink alcohol so it would’ve been nice to have energy drinks included.
