「excellent all around. the cleanliness, the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, the food was good. the espresso martinis with baileys at the bar with live music every night hit the spot after long days of adventure. the concierge sever, baggage handlers and valet service as great and convenient to maximize your time on the island. this was a beautiful hotel and amazing island. this is a trip worth doing again.」

The same for the breakfast show kitchen Chef with the goatie beard navigating the demands for all sort of fancy egg diahes. I am particularly amazed by his attention to detail and multi tasking skills. Well trained i thought! That required focus, and a great amount of love for the job. The passion for their job was evident. For their island! We love that! The hotel is a beautiful wonder....

「Highly recommend this hotel. This hotel is well situated, about a 2 minute walk to center of town. Parking outside is metered from 8pm-7am, or hotel offers parking 10€ a day. Lot directly across the street is 6€ a day, or if you are ok to walk about 2 blocks- free parking on the street (ask hotel which streets, they will tell you) Clara, Tomas, Luis and Tugo really went above and beyond and help my cousin and I during our stay . 「This was a super cute boutique hotel in the heart of Ponta Delgada. We enjoyed the morning breakfast in the hotel and had fabulous dinners and lunches in the surrounding restaurants. We were fortunate to get one of the five on site parking spots to keep our car.」

「I stayed at the Mercure Ponta Delgada Azores for 3 nights total. My first night was prior to meeting a one week active hiking biking and kayaking trip on the the island. My last 2 nights were after the group trip and I felt a sense of relief and "coming home" when I arrived for the second time. This hotel is a true gem. 「The Rock Guest House is a beautiful, well maintained facility. They served a wonderful continental breakfast and since we had to check out early, they provided us with a breakfast to go! Getting to the port was easy - just walk down the road. Going back was good exercise if you enjoy a gentle climb. We highly recommend it.」
