「We booked a superior room with a nice view of the river. It was comfortable, not so big but big enough for our 1 night stay. The room was available early which was really nice because we arrived around noon. It is a fair walk to the restaurants down hill which means you have to go up hill when returning. We decided not use the breakfast facilities so I can't comment on those. Lovely area to sit outside and catch some sun. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.」

The location is good as well. It locates in the historic center of Porto, close to the Palace of Bolsa. Sophia, our host, is very helpful and friendly. 「The Baumhaus appartment was fantastic. The elegant entrance hallway leads you to the airy garden with the amazing tree. Our room, Emmerico, was on the top floor and had a fabulous balcony overlooking the garden and the city. The room was airy, well lit, plenty of space and very clean with a comfortable bed and seating. The little kitchen was perfect for a city break. We had a late check in, after normal working hours, and the instructions with pictures and videos on how to enter the building was...
