“Excellent property right in the centre of Funchal. We stayed in the top floor apartment V, which had a lovely balcony that has a side view towards the see and sunshine from midday. The kitchen is full of all utensils and cleaning products. Tupperware came in handy to take on hikes with you. There are a couple of points to note. There is no lift so you need to make sure you can climb plenty of steps. The mattress is quite firm and the building carries the noise so you can hear a lot of things……

“Centrally located in town. Tons of restaurants and bars to pick from. Great hotel overall. Only disadvantage is parking is either on street or in a parking garage requiring you to bring your luggage too and from where you park.”

“Beautiful property with an excellent layout. Staff and service were impeccable. We enjoyed several restaurants including Pau de Lume and Nikkei on premises. We also enjoyed massages and use of the immense Laurea Spa. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Tout était parfait . Super accueil , pas de soucis majeur pour se garer entre le parking de l hôtel et le parking situé un peu plus bas dans la rue , les cocktails du bar du bas et du rooftop sont supers et les prix très correct . Excellent petit déj complet et varie, chambre propre et piscine très agréable. Le bus pour le centre de funchal ou monte palace passe au pied de l hôtel (2, 05 par personne) . Bord de mer et plage accessible en 5 minutes. J ai adoré ce choix d hôtel , je recommande”

“Wir sind zufrieden. Tatsächlich haben wir nur geschlafen und gefrühstückt im Hotel. Pool oder andere Aktivitäten haben im Hotel nicht besucht. Vom frühstück waren wir nicht so sehr begeistert, jeden Tag wurde das selbe angeboten und die Auswahl war jetzt auch nicht so groß. Wir hatten noch ein kleines Problem mit der Klima und das wurde innerhalb vom 30 min gelöst. Alle waren super freundlichen hilfreich.”

“Very good sized apartment in a good location, within walking distance to the marina, old town, restaurants and a nearby shopping centre with a supermarket. Simple check in process via a door code. Very quiet in the evenings. The shower is large but due to the set up the water does spill over as there is no shower door. The apartment got warm which was ok in April with the plug in fan but would likely be too hot in the summer with no air con”

“Stayed for a week, we only did bed and breakfast but were given a 2pm gratuitous late check out due to evening flight. The staff were incredibly helpful with car rental, restaurant recommendations and other queries. I'd highly recommend the hotel”

“The resort and staff were incredible! The facilities were well maintained, food onsite was great with a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. Also super close to restaurants in surrounding area and a short 10 min drive from downtown Funchal with the convenience of a hop on hop off bus stop right at the resort! Highly recommended!”

“We had two rooms booked, one room AC wasn't working. Hotel was fill so they couldn't move us to another room as well. When we mentioned the issue during check out; no apology or the counter guy didn't take it that serious.”
