“I stayed at Little Scotia for two weeks. It is in a great location with quick access to the CBD, V&A, and all the nature spots like Table Mountain and the botanical gardens. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast every morning was fantastic. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cape Town.”

“The hotel is nice in general. Amazing breakfast with Amazing view. Breakfast only available between 8:00-9:00 the other option from 9:00-10:00 was already sold out at our check in time at 16:00 the day before. We had no aircondition in the room. The room had 35 degrees on our arrival. We were not able to sleep due to the heat.”

“We spent 3 excellent nights at the Afton Safari Lodge. We had a large room with a sitting area, small refrigerator, and large bathroom. The bed and room were very comfortable and nicely decorated. But what really made our stay was the owners, Tony and Marieka. From the time we arrived, they made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and good. We opted for the yogurt, fruit muesli, etc. Marieka also booked us a table for dinner at a nearby Italian……

“Whilst these rooms are effectively student accommodation and (in my case at least) the bathroom is shared by two rooms, they are excellently appointed and comfortable. They have good internet, parking, a great buffet breakfast, charming grounds, perfect for a day or two. Really helpful staff and all very clean and modern - they even have kitchen facilities. ”
